- Why do people feel the need to blurt out anything that they could on a social networking site?
This question is trying to ask if people have the urge to post everything that happens on a social networking site? And if so, why would they want to advertise every last thing that they're doing on the internet? I want to see if the average person who tweets, posts, writes on a wall of a friend/acquaintance for a very legitimate reason, or to type something leisurely and frivolous. This act is called "oversharing" or "oversharing on Facebook" where something could be interpreted as sharing too much information. What I found on the matter is an article on Women'sHealth that I think share's the real answer.
