Photo Journalism

Photo Journalism is a certain type of journalism that uses one or multiple photos to tell a news event, story, or events. In my Mediastorm class, my film team will create a photo essay for a film we are producing. GG in the Love Game, our film, will be a movie about how technology and social networking affects teenage relationships. I plan to interview some couples, one pair in their teens, another who are parents that hadn't used social networking to be together, and hopefully a much older couple, maybe in their 65+ age range.

My idea heading into the film is that the overall effect of social networking on teenagers has plagued us. Leading us more into arguments, bickering, break ups, or even physical fights. This Photo essay will elaborate more on the topic of how, and why teens or couples choose to go into social networking. The reason why I chose this topic is because this issue of drama on Facebook or social network is so prevalent that it persists to be an annoying issue, and also for the reason that everybody, if not most people, has a story pertaining to the drama they have experience because of Facebook.

The shots that I want to take is a static of a computer logged onto Facebook, where the person switches between the computer and her phone with anxiety, not so much that they look paranoid, but enough to make it so that they look troubled because of both of those things.
